About
Full-Stack Software Engineer with 4+ years of experience building web applications in React, TypeScript and Node.js. I own features end to end, from database schema design and REST/GraphQL APIs to real-time user interfaces. At oVice I built a serverless AI product on AWS (Lambda, DynamoDB, S3) with OpenAI RAG, and real-time collaboration features on Elixir/Phoenix and PostgreSQL, shipped with automated tests and CI/CD.

Full-Stack Software Engineer · oVice, Inc.
HQ: Tokyo, Japan · Remote
- Built InfoReach's embeddable AI chatbot end to end (one script tag) for a platform serving 4,000+ enterprise clients: RAG on the OpenAI Responses API, answers streamed over AppSync pub/sub, recommended source links and hand-offs to live agents.
- Owned the knowledge-ingestion backend: designed its DynamoDB model and upload states, wrote the Lambda that moves PDFs (up to 100 MB) from S3 into OpenAI vector stores, and streamed progress over subscriptions to get around AppSync's 30-second limit.
- Delivered self-service custom domains: DNS-validated SSL certificates from AWS ACM and CloudFront multi-tenant distribution routing, with the backend activation route and a guided four-state setup UI.
- Built seat licensing (Agent/Staff) and credit-gated lead details across React and Lambda, with role-based authorization, Zod validation, DynamoDB index queries and unit tests.
- Improved dashboard performance: cut WebSocket subscriptions from N to 1, updated query caches in place instead of refetching, batched feature-flag calls, and added CDN caching.
- Owned Meeting Logs, the meeting record and secure playback used by 100,000+ active users, on a Yjs/BlockNote real-time co-editor, with Phoenix endpoints, Ecto migrations on PostgreSQL and ExUnit tests.
- Shipped meeting-room hosts full stack (REST endpoints, automatic host assignment, late-joiner sync over Phoenix Channels) and led the Meeting Room revamp, driving a 30% increase in daily VMR adoption.
- Reduced interaction latency by 25% with optimistic UI patterns and targeted React/Jotai render optimizations.
